In order to enjoy the back water and the sunset from an eagle eye view for the tourists, GCDA envisages to construct a Ropeway/Cable car. This cable car will be connecting Marine Drive Maidan to Bolgatty Island across the backwaters. The Project is proposed on PPP basis and GCDA is in the initial stage of the project. GCDA has submitted a brief project proposal to the Government for in-principle sanction.
